2026 Dolus SUV Review - The Bold New American SUV You’ve Never Heard Of
Exterior Design
At first glance, the 2026 Dolus SUV turns heads with
a bold, angular design. Think Range Rover meets Cybertruck — with sharp
LED light bars, a floating roof, and muscular wheel arches that scream
capability.
A full-length LED light blade runs across the front
and rear, while the aggressive grille features active shutters for
aerodynamics. Offered in six metallic colors, including Lunar Silver, Matte
Obsidian, and Crimson Pulse, this SUV looks like it came from the future —
but it’s built for the roads of today.
20-inch alloy wheels are standard, with optional 22-inch black diamond-cut rims on the Sportline trim.
Interior & Tech
Step inside, and the Dolus SUV continues to impress. A
massive 15-inch floating touchscreen dominates the center console,
running DolusOS — an all-new interface powered by AI voice commands and
real-time over-the-air updates.
A fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, wireless Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto, and a holographic head-up display come
standard.
Materials are premium across the board — think vegan
leather, sustainable wood trim, and soft-touch Alcantara throughout the
cabin. Heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic smart glass roof, and ambient
lighting round out the upscale vibe.
The rear seats slide and recline, and with them folded, cargo space expands to over 85 cubic feet — best-in-class for a midsize SUV.
Performance & Powertrain
Under the hood, the 2026 Dolus offers two powertrains:
- A 2.0L
turbocharged hybrid with 310 horsepower and 36 MPG combined
- A dual-motor
all-electric AWD version with 420 horsepower and 300 miles of range
The hybrid model is ideal for efficiency-focused families,
while the EV variant — called the Dolus Evolve — delivers instant torque
and a 0-60 time of just 4.9 seconds.
Both options come with adaptive suspension, terrain select modes, and an off-road package with hill descent control, underbody armor, and all-terrain tires.
Safety & Autonomous Tech
Safety is front and center in the Dolus SUV. Every model
comes with the Dolus Guardian Suite, featuring:
- 360-degree
cameras
- Lane
Keep Assist
- Smart
Emergency Braking
- Adaptive
Cruise with Stop & Go
- Driver
Attention Monitoring
The Evolve trim even includes Level 2.5
semi-autonomous driving, allowing for hands-free cruising on mapped
interstates in the U.S.
Over-the-air updates continuously improve the system, making this SUV smarter with time.
Trims, Pricing & Market Position
The Dolus SUV is offered in three trims:
- Base
Core – from $37,995
- Sportline
AWD Hybrid – from $44,995
- Evolve
AWD Electric – from $54,990
All models are built in the U.S. at Dolus’s new facility in
Texas, focusing on sustainability and American jobs.
What makes the Dolus stand out is its mix of futuristic design, luxury tech, and real-world usability—all at a price that undercuts many rivals, such as the Ford Edge, Toyota Venza, and Tesla Model Y.
